Registration
ICACS-25 will be held in conjunction with another particle-solid interaction conference, namely Swift Heavy Ions in Matter, SHIM2012. ICACS-25 and SHIM2012 will be held in a compact series in the same venue with an overlap of two days (See the tentative schedule). We will have several joint sessions (oral and poster) and joint social events as well. SHIM2012 will continue till Saturday, October 27th, 2012.
You may attend all sessions of both conferences with registration at either of them. If you submit contributions to both conferences, please register for both conferences.

Registration fees include followings:

The book of abstracts includes all abstracts of both conferences. The conference proceedings will be published separately. The regular fee includes proceedings of the registered conference(s). Thanks to generous subsidies from our sponsors, the registration fees do not include costs for banquet and reception, which all participants can attend free of charge.
Cancellation Policy
- Before Oct. 7, 2012: There will be a cancellation fee of JPY10,000 deducted from each refund.
- After Oct. 7, 2012: No Refund.
VISAS AND PASSPORTS
Participants are responsible for checking passport and visa requirements for travel to Japan. You will find information about the countries that do not require a visa at the website of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
If you are uncertain about Japanese visa requirements, please ask at the nearest Japanese Embassy.
Support for Student and Young Postdoc Researcher Participation
Financial support up to JPY 50,000 will be available for students and young postdoc researchers presenting a paper. Application form should be submitted via e-mail to icacs25@nucleng.kyoto-u.ac.jp (Kaoru Nakajima) with 'application for support' in the subject line. You will be notified that your application is received soon after submission.
The deadline for support applications is 31th May 2012. Applicants will be notified about the support decision by 15th June 2012.
